Southern Morocco. The white, misty sun is casting a sleepy shadow over a still, diffuse land. Miniature tornadoes improvise a ballet, dance across the sands, roll, spin, and then disappear. They are the Djinn, the genies of good and evil. They announce the arrival of Chergui, a dry wind from the East. Burning, rolling, mica-laden knots for a curtain of red sand. The Chergui retreats, followed by the burning sands.
